Youth (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Youth is a stage in life that can be perceived differently for many people. It is meaningful because it divides two extreme periods in a lifetime – childhood and adulthood. Bodies are in the best shape, vital energy is limitless and mind is open to get to know the world. It is time of experiments, breaking barriers, learning the opposite sex and new people and as an effect, creating new relations and shaping self-consciousness. Sense of touch plays a significant role as it receives all the body contacts. In her photography’s the artist shows gestures and moments of those body connections and state of delusion interlaced with carefreeness. She stops the time when there is more fun, joy, craziness, love, tenderness and body power. In order to empower those emotions, she combines those pictures with idyllic landscapes. The artist evokes memories to encourage viewers to think and sigh on their youths.
