Landscape nominee

For me, mountains always have their own mysterious style and feeling. This series dedicates to capture the mysterious feeling of mountains in Southeast Tibet, China. There's no beautiful foreground to dress up the mountains; however, these captured the raw state and spirit of mountains in my own opinion. Each image has their own special taste, yet they are related to each other. All show the power and force coming from these mountains.

I’m a landscape photographer from China.I have taken landscape photographs for over 5 years now.These images come follow along on my adventure journey. I love outdoor and wilderness since I was a little kid. I picked up my first DSLR in 2010. At first, I just wanted to use the camera to record different things in my life. Two years later, I started taking landscape photograph because I realized it combines my passion for wilderness and photography.

Photography is an art of catching the light and expressing the personal view and emotion for me. Through these photographs, I try to express my feelings for the locations I visit and the beauty of it. In the end, photography really is to evoke an emotional response and to interact with the viewers. I attempt to bring my feeling and the experiences of my journey to the viewers.
