Icebound Window (Single)
DESCRIPTION
This is a shot from my 3-week trip to the remote region of southeast of Tibet in March. The weather of this region is really dramatic. I had experienced from -10 to 20 degree C in 3 weeks. This is not an ice cave. It’s just a massive blue iceberg being dropped off by a glacier during the summer and then being frozen in the winter. Most of these icicles are from 2 to 6 feet high. I was lucky to capture some beautiful light hitting on the peaks in the background after a storm clearing. The three peaks are called Mt. Risonggepu(Kona), which is named by the local Tibetan.
AUTHOR
I’m a landscape photographer from China.I have taken landscape photographs for over 5 years now. These images come follow along on my adventure journey. I love outdoor and wilderness since I was a little kid. I picked up my first DSLR in 2010. At first, I just wanted to use the camera to record different things in my life. Two years later, I started taking landscape photograph because I realized it combines my passion for wilderness and photography.
Photography is an art of catching the light and expressing the personal view and emotion for me. Through these photographs, I try to express my feelings for the locations I visit and the beauty of it. In the end, photography really is to evoke an emotional response and to interact with the viewers. I attempt to bring my feeling and the experiences of my journey to the viewers.
