Can you imagine the window as a pacification membrane of interior and exterior, of culture and nature, when you think of a landscape (picture) related to Alberti’s image metaphor of a view through an opened window?
So, is a landscape (picture) not any longer a landscape (picture), or, is it not just yet a landscape (picture)?
The group of works “Industrial Peace” avoids such a way of binary thinking.
Moments of balance, of pacification – no matter of which kind they are – are very fragile and their duration depends on whether the perspective of the whole is included besides the single ones: trinary balance.
You can realize these aspects on several levels with the group of works: in the picture itself, with the picture and its negative and with the picture and its sourroundings as the whole image.
