Lower Antelope Canyon, Navajo Nation, Page Arizona (Single)
DESCRIPTION
Antelope Canyon may be the most stunning geological feature in North America. It is breathtaking in person and a thrill to photograph. This was shot this month while I was on a photo vacation in that part of the country.
AUTHOR
With an education and a major portion of my earlier career in urban planning, I am obsessed with photographing the shapes, colors and textures of the built environment and studying its affect on our lives. I have recently given in to this obsession and changed careers to pursue my photography full-time. While I now live in New York City, I spent half of my life in small New England towns, so I may bring a different perspective to how we view the urban environment. I was fortunate enough to be chosen to do a solo exhibit , "Urban Images," at One Art Space in Chelsea (New York City)in August of this year and the gallery owner, Dan Giella, said that it was his most successful first solo show in his ten years of operation, based on sales and the opening reception's 200 attendees. I prefer to show my work exclusively in large format and metal. Website NYUrbanImages.com Instagram @LakeChar
