Midnight Express (Single)
DESCRIPTION
It took me forever to get the combination of a clear, moonless night and a train parked in the right location to pull this star trails shot off. It's 931 40-second images taken in Montana during very early spring. I had to use hand warmers on the barrel of my lens to prevent frost from forming, as the temperature dipped into the teens. A few passing cars on a nearby highway served to light the foreground perfectly.

I have made a lifetime of exploring the natural world, always attempting to show the beauty of what lies around us all on Earth.
