Isomorph serie is an exploration of the mimesis between the man and the animal. It would depend of the circumstances, to choose the predominant one to survive.
I decided to make the masks in paper of some of the animals I am intrigued by.

Claudia Lopez was born in Mexico City. She directed her first short film, "Hora de Muerte 8:36" (Time of Death 8:36) in 16mm. It premiered on Mexican television. This was also her graduating project from the Communications Major at Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Monterrey Tech in Mexico City) from which she graduated with honors. She continued with graduated studies in Photographic Production and Theory from Monterrey Tech and Kodak. Claudia went on to pursue an advertising career as a director and producer for various corporate videos, events and television commercials for several brands and continued her postgraduate studies in Photography. She began to exhibit her work in art galleries in Mexico City mainly and just exhibited two photographic series at the 4th Berlin Foto Biennale, next to the prominent Magnum Photographer, Steve Mccurry.
Currently, she is working on distribution of her first feature documentary film "La Muñeca Fea" (The Ugly Doll), which received The Creative Promise Award from Tribeca All-Access, the Elizabeth Pena Fellowship from Film Independent and is part of the Official Selection of DOCSMX (International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City). In this documentary, she shares credits as Director, Producer, and Editor.
