Portrait nominee

Artists and Their Art is fine art environmental portraiture project and focusing on contemporary older American artists living in the San Francisco Bay Area. We will come to know who they are and what kind of art they are doing through these photographs. I am trying to merge each artist into their work and create a new series of portraits to show these artist’s distinctive personalities. These artists work in different areas of the arts, and they all are seniors in their 60’s. There are painters, photographers, a filmmaker, a landscape designer, sculptors, an actress and mixed media artists. Most photos were taken at the studios of each artist, but a few have been taken at their homes. The style of each photo varies quite a lot; all portraits are based on the style of each artist’s work.

In 2016 I founded a club “Senior Artist” based in the Bay Area, we have 69 members.
In 2017 I am a member of “80 years old Artist critique group” in Atherton.
