Taking the train through India is a fascinating journey rich in colors, odors and unforeseen experiences.
The Howrah Express from Ahmedabad to Kolkata stopps at Agra Fort Station where I got off to explore, and see with my own eyes, the beauty of this pearl at the shores of Yamuna river, that I've been told about so many times.
An for myself I can say: I've found this beauty while passing through Agra.

Born in 1984 in Freiburg, I grew up in southern Germany along the Rhine river.
Fulfilling a dream in 2003, working as a cowboy on a ranch in Wyoming, I portrayed the life out west and discovered my passion for photography and telling stories through pictures.
Eager to learn more, I got myself a three year apprenticeship in a commercial and advertising studio and started earning my photography skills.
Working abroad in 2009/10 with photographer and filmmaker Andrei Jewell in New Zealand, eventually led me to the point where I felt ready to start my own photography business.
Today I am a freelance photographer focussing mainly on commercial photography, collaborating with different agencies and publishers and teaching workshops.
It has always been my desire to go back to telling stories with my pictures since that was what initially sparked my interest in photography.
Last year I started working on my first photojournalistic project which is about the Palio in Siena.
