Frozen in Time (Series)
DESCRIPTION
When the temperatures drop to -20*F in Wisconsin, many photographers stay in doors. Not me! I took this opportunity to photograph frozen bubbles in my three-seasons room where the temperature was a 'warm' 10*F. At this temperature, the bubbles freeze almost instantly, making it challenging to capture individually forming crystals of ice. With a little patience and some frozen fingers, I was able to collect some amazing abstract images. The colors are made by using a flashlight and gels.
