Abstract nominee

Images captured from a day in the woods where I was drawn to the muddy waters of ponds and the textures, reflections and patterns that conjured up a series of emotions.

I am a Sussex based amateur photographer who has fallen in love with the art of capturing images that convey emotion rather than perfection. This can be in an abstract form where the prominent feature is texture, colour or pattern or simply a smile on a child's face. I am constantly aiming to produce images that involve the viewer and touch them in some way. I seek and find beauty in everyday life events, subjects and objects and like focusing on extracting a focus point from any scene.
