Abstract nominee

This work explores the ephemeral beauty of light within the everyday. I have explored the theme of light in many of my projects as I find it fascinating the way that natural sunlight can transform the quotidian into something unique and interesting. Also, light is often taken for granted and shadows are something that aren't often noticed in day to day life, therefore I wanted to draw attention to them and how they create shapes and compositions of their own within my images.

I am currently a second year undergraduate student at Manchester Metropolitan University where I study Photography at degree level, working on personal projects as well as my university projects. My work has been shown nationally. It has also appeared in the Brighton Photo Fringe Festival and the Royal Academy Online Summer Exhibition, as well as in cities such as Hull and it is currently being shown in Gateshead and Rome.
