Architecture nominee

This series is about the architectural monuments in the cities we live in. It shows in a specific and minimalistic way, the structures and forms of modern architecture. Lightreflections and black and white processing gives the buildings the depth they are worth it.

Dominik Jaeck has focused on architecture and landscape in his photographic work. He creates his pictures as a balance to his everyday life, with calmness and prudence. The quit dealing with camera and subjects makes the photography special for him. He likes to combine dynamic structures like water or the sky with static elements like buildings or pregnant points in landscapes. A trip aorund the half of the world in the year 2011 inspired Dominik Jaeck to deal with photography even more intense. Since then his work was featured in differnt german magazines. Also they are archived for documentation purposes in the city museum of Oldenburg / Germany.
