Block 444 Tampines St 42 is one of about 10 HDB public housing blocks in Tampines painted in a retro TV test pattern. It was initiated by the Member of Parliament for the precinct and the town council to suggest a more interesting scheme for their neighbourhoods' repainting exercise.
