The series Onus Ovo (The Burden of the Egg) is an attempt to acknowledge the burden that comes with the ability to give birth and appreciate the strength of women.
The series should be viewed as the process of lifting the egg onto the shoulders.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Christian Nowak was born in Northern Germany in 1971 and grew up in the small fishing town of Heiligenhafen. This did not stop him seeking out luck in the Elbe metropolis of Hamburg.
After successfully studying graphic design, Christian found himself in the colorful world of advertising, where he (as an employee at first and a co-owner of a multimedia agency later on) prepared boring content in an entertaining manner.
In 2012 Nowak turned his back on his former occupation and started the artistic exploration of human photography. Since then he has sharpened mind and eye, put his fingers into the wounds of our time and challenged social conventions with dedication - and sometimes, chutzpah.
