Fine Art nominee

Sometimes jetties are looking better when they are broken and no longer used. Their remains remind of what once was and as static object they make fantastic subjects for long exposure photographs. This one was no different. I stumbled across it and was over the moon when I first saw it, knowing immediately the potential it could bring. I opted for a long exposure, a square crop and a conversion to monochrome to get the desired look.
