I used several pre-existing photos to compose this picture. Especially the colors and the softness of the image is important to me.

Marloes Moraal is dutch self-taught artistic photographer. She started her career as a biologist and worked in animal biology and medical ethics. After her second child was born she started to combine pre-existing photo’s and sculp them into new imagery.
Her artwork has a magic realistic style. She often uses soft pastel colors and a lot of detail in her images. Many of her works feature children. They have a certain vulnerability and softness in them, which Marloes uses to sculpt her dreamy soft images.
