Along the divide (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The quietness of these images belie the ferocity of the 'Beast from the east' of March 2018 that transformed the pastureland around Stonehenge; an expanse of snow broken only by the stark lines of a dividing fence. The raging wind drowned all voices but its own, tore the breath from my body and hurled sharp snow at anything in its path; a deserted landscape bar a quartet of rooks braving the elements.
AUTHOR
A self professed ‘eclectic photographer’ I do not limit myself to one particular genre or style although my preference is for black and white photography, focussing on the elemental and simplicity of form.
I have reached the final stages of a number of major photography competitions which has seen my work published and exhibited, as well as general publication in B+W Photography, the Sunday Telegraph, BBC Wildlife Magazine and QWeekend (The Courier Mail, Queensland).
