This Picture was made in a forest on the Baltic sea coast near Rostock/Germany. This woodland is called "ghost forest", because of it´s bleak beech trees, who sometimes look like ghost´s.
I had some issues to find a good composition. After some search I found this single birch between all the bleak. I choosed a narrow image detail to remove all interfering bright spots between the branches. A underexposure of 2 stops enhanced the slightly creepy mood of this scene.
