Germany, covered by a layer of thick stratus clouds for as far as the eye can see.
Some industrial chimneys or water-coolant towers on the ground produce enough warm moist air to create their own clouds and break through the temperature inversion layer that prevents the natural clouds from growing any higher.
When flying so high up in the atmosphere, it sometimes feels as I can peak over alien landscapes that remain hidden from everybody on the ground.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Born and raised in The Netherlands in 1983, I was fascinated by natural light in all its forms since a young age.
Now working as a pilot, flying all over the world, I always have my camera with me to immortalize the world around me, be it from the cockpit or at destinations that I am fortunate to visit.
Capturing moments that have never been seen before and will never be seen again with eye for light, composition and mood.
