Nature nominee

A neighbour told me of a rose garden just 15 minutes from my house that, somehow, I didn't know existed. I drove there the very next morning and was in awe of the sensory feast before me. Yes, I took a million rose images of which I am happy, but this shot of a fly just keeps winning me over.

Whether capturing life's milestones, creating a piece of fantastical art, or admiring the way the raindrops fell on my garden, photography has always been a part of my life. Most of my time is spent with flowers or exploring the endless trails in the mountains and on the beaches of my home province of British Columbia, Canada. The natural surroundings provide limitless inspiration and motivation to create my art.
