Enchanted Trees (Single)
DESCRIPTION
No matter what path my life has taken, the place that I think of as "home" is Taiping, Malaysia. During my recent trip back home in Feb 2018, I decided to photograph the underrated Taiping Lake Gardens in the early morning when the lovely rays of the sun are shinning. The garden was formerly an abandoned 160 acres tin mine before 1880 and it is the first public garden developed during the British rule. Huge ancient rain trees (Angsana) with branches stretching from one end of the road to the lake across is so tranquil. Rhinoceros Hornbill can be seen resting on the trees if lucky.
