Madlen Duderstedt is a Berlin-based fine art photographer working across landscape, conceptual and experimental photography. Her practice moves between refined natural compositions and layered double exposures that explore perception, memory and emotional resonance.
Influenced by extended stays in Australia and New Zealand, her work reflects a deep connection to remote landscapes and nature itself. By shifting between documentary clarity and multi-layered abstraction, Duderstedt creates images that dissolve the boundaries between inner and outer worlds.
She was a Finalist at the New Zealand Geographic Photographer of the Year (2019). Her solo exhibitions include "Silent Flight" (New Zealand, 2020), "Between Realities" (Berlin, 2025) and "Body of Nature" (Berlin 2026).
Duderstedt continues to develop concept-driven projects that merge nature, perception and visual storytelling.
