TinyPlanetART aims to become a photo artistic concept where one bends a spherical 360 degree panoramic image of a specific real object or site towards what is known as a "Tiny Planet" projection, consciously seeking to artistically emphasize a central motif, show off an uncommon perspective or pattern, or even inspire a completely different and new "hidden figure".
The author proposes a first subjective title for the resulting image, but invites the viewer to consider other interpretations. An indication is given of where that picture was taken, so one may create variations under other light and weather conditions.
While any panoramic photo (taken anywhere) can be bent to a Tiny Planet perspective, experience by the author demonstrates that the resulting image, allthough allways mind-blowing, seldomly invites the viewer to interpret it artistically. This makes TinyPlanetART an exciting "treasure-hunt" experience to find unique locations and perspectives.
The ideal TinyPlanetART image is one where the viewer forgets or looses interest in the real site or landscape that makes out the original photography, and concentrates on the mind-bending new perspective, discussing a possible title for the image or motif with other viewers.
A series is necessary to better showcase the concept.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I was born in Barcelona (Spain) in 1973, and consider myself an amateur hobby photographer focused on exploring a "think out of the box" perspective and interpretation of reality.
After experimenting with traditional photography, at the end of 2017 I discovered the awesome mind-bending possibilities of 360 degree cameras, and have concentrated ever since on developing an artistic use of it, mainly through what is know as the "Tiny Planet" perspective.
I haven't materialized any exhibitions so far, nor gotten any awards, but would love to bring this new artistic photo-concept to society, as I have noticed a spontaneous and sincere interest in it by both young and older people, who are generally struck by a mind-blowing new perspective of objects and sites.
Up to now I have created a collection of more than 60 TinyPlanetART images, and am eager to expand this fascinating universe in parallel to the day-to-day improvement and popularization of 360 cameras.
I am currently working on a dedicated personal webpage about the TinyPlanetART concept, beyond the work shown in my Instagram account.
