Panoramic nominee

Hong Kong’s skyline is often considered to be one of the best in the world, with the Victoria Harbour and mountains complementing the skyscrapers. Due to the lack of available land, Asia’s global city is densely populated with more than 9000 high rise buildings, of which 350 skyscrapers above 150m than any other city. The panorama photo was taken during the National Day fireworks in Hong Kong on 1 Oct 2018.

I am Travis Chuah, a Risk Manager working in a Financial Institution. Currently based in Hong Kong, I am a keen amateur photographer and enjoy capturing diverse and wide ranging subjects, using a variety of techniques. To me, a good image tells a story, and inspires others to know more about the subject of my photo.
