DESCRIPTION
Format: 35mm, Location: Venice Beach Skate Park
Context: The woman in red was apprehensive, but determined to dive into the skate bowl. Modified wheelchairs, amongst the skateboards, are not a common sight in Venice Beach. Though comradery is not in short supply.
AUTHOR
Sean was raised in Midland, Texas. The Permian Basin isn't known for its artistic and cultural relevance; so his young life was uprooted and transplanted in Austin. Sean has a Cinematography degree from Columbia College Chicago. Following his time in Illinois, he discovered the simple and enjoyable pastime of amateur photography.
Sean prefers to shoot on film, but is not against its digital counterpart.
