I Hope You Dance (Single)
DESCRIPTION
'I Hope You Dance' is a self portrait composite. The background photo was taken early morning outside of Gladstone, QLD, on the mudflats. I photographed myself against a bed sheet hanging from my parents clothes line at roughly the same time the next day. Each of image of me 'dancing' is 2-5 different images merged in to one. When I see this image I see freedom, journey and flight. It was my first venture back into photography after having my first child in November 2017. I was feeling a bit lost within myself and adjusting to being a stay at home Mum. Creating this image helped me through the transition and I'm excited to continue on this path.
