AUTHOR
Originally from Belgium, Douglas Vernimmen gained his Ph.D. at the University of Liège before coming to Oxford to continue his studies. He developed an early interest in photography, and his work has been shown in about a hundred salons covering 50 countries from Asia to the USA. He is the recipient of over 300 international awards from the Royal Photographic Society (RPS), the Photographic Society of America (PSA), the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the International Photography Awards (IPA), the Paris Photo Prize (PX3), the Association of Photographers (AOP), Photo District News (PDN)and many others.
