Vesna Zednik was born in 1972 in Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated from the University of Zagreb with a degree in Philosophy and Old Greek Language and Literature.
Born into a family with a strong inclination to photography, she has been developing her love of photography from an early age. Greatly influenced by the Zagreb school of photography, her work is directed towards details which reveal a personal relationship with the object of interest in her photographs.
Her favourite theme is a human body with an emphasis on face, hands and movement. Her every photo shoot is carefully organized and she tries to find photographic solutions that result in high aestheticism.
She publishes her work in books and magazines and takes part in international exhibitions. She is also a member of Zagreb Photo Club.
