NY Vertical City is inspired by Churchill's observation "We shape our buildings and afterward, our buildings shape us" After moving to NYC in 2015 I started making photographs of people on the streets with the high-rise buildings and visually dominating architecture of Manhattan as a constant backdrop.
The series is the result of exploring the relationship between people and buildings.
