Losing a person very dear to me and now only having memories of that person's essence, I travelled to their hometown of Kyoto Japan. While in Kyoto I wanted to capture lingering spirits that remained. Everyday life of Kyoto residents in neighborhoods away from where the vermilion lacquered paint glistened from torii gates and where flash bulbs can be seen lighting up the night sky. My emotions were full of melancholy and hope.
The mood was set…I went hunting and I captured Subtle Thoughts.
