Perhaps three hundred zebras crossed the river in single file; crocodiles in groups of two or three attempted attacks avoided by the zebra jumping over them. Suddenly two or three big crocodiles managed to catch a zebra, dragged him to the bottom of the water, and then began to skin him (first three pictures). We then decided to reach the highest point of the shore where we could see more closely, crocodiles skinning the zebra. Everything was going very fast: more than forty crocodiles were fighting for their share of the zebra. A real carnage. At one point, the head of the zebra appeared among the heads of crocodiles (see photos); there was no more body behind that head, but she seemed alive, her eyes imploring. Crocodiles fought to eat the head of the zebra. Next to it, there was a zebra leg. Crocodiles also fought for a piece of the leg. A huge crocodile managed to grab the entire leg and swallowed it at once. In about fifteen minutes, everything was played. The power and voracity of crocodiles are impressive. If a zebra was killed, several hundred more passed, foiling the crocodile attacks.
