Not there, you moron! (Single)
DESCRIPTION
This is an image of peregrine falcon mating in the Spring in Southern California. The female solicits mating by bowing low and whining loudly to attract the male’s attention. He flies in and lands slowly and carefully on her back with his talons and toes curled inward so he does not hurt her. Using his wings he balances on her back. She raises her tail and he lowers his so that their cloacas touch to transfer sperm. And then he flies away.
AUTHOR
I am a fine art landscape and nature photographer that simply enjoys being outside exploring the world. As a nature photographer, I strive to create artwork that depicts the noble simplicity and the noble beauty of the natural world. I see my work as a result of my questioning the visible reality; my endeavor to create something that speaks, something that touches the heart, and something that uplifts the mind. Recently, I have been working on poetry-inspired images. Some of these are already published in my website.
