Abstract nominee

My series 'Planets' tells stories about such desire. A house does not only satisfy a need for a living space; it is a symbol of desire. The photographic structure of frame within frame represents two different spaces: one concretely expresses the object of my desire, and the other embodies my own inner reflection to realize my true nature. I look back at myself and hope that I won?t stay at this depot of desire in despair, but move forward by eventually realizing my foolishness. I also hope this starlight of my desire can be sublimated into a brighter light that illuminates my inner self.
