This picture was taken in the Chaotian Palace in Nanjing, China. It was built as an imperial palace in the Ming dynasty, burnt down during the Taiping Rebellion in Qing dynasty, and were built again from 1866 to 1870.
The whole palace was covered by snow when the image was taken. From a special angle, look from top to bottom, beautiful lines of these acient stairs were sketched by the white snow. Beautiful, pure and clean moment.
