Abstract nominee

A photograph is the starting point for each digital artwork. One or more empty rectangles - creating empty space at the centre of the work - are added. What follows is a process of cutting away to reveal and conceal the photograph and to modify the border. The process ends with a work containing a visually balanced arrangement of abstract elements, concentrated mainly along the edge.
