‘Hidden Beauty’ responds to the societal median of aesthetics and society’s obsession with the surface valued above all else.
Initially drawn to their core elemental shapes, patterns and strong lines the series developed into seeing beyond the exterior. Each building seemed to have their own personality. They are part of something, a compilation of individual units within a unit housing families, workers, communities, all with countless stories to be told.

Sandra is an award-winning fine art photographer who creates calming visual meditations.
Through a 2016 crowd-funding campaign, she created her first book “Adfectus: An Exploration of Life and How We Fit Into the World”. The project was funded within 36 hours and the resulting publication has received many positive reviews.
Her solo exhibition “Hidden Beauty” was part of Photomonth East London International Photography Festival. This led to features in The Guardian and Professional Photography Magazine. Her book U N I T showcasing work from this series was published in 2018.
Sandra is represented by the renowned L A Noble Gallery in London and has work in private collections in the UK, the United States, Switzerland, Turkey and Australia.
