Chartreuse de Neuville (Series)
DESCRIPTION
In this picture series from autumn 2018 I want to bring to life the Chartreuse de Neuville near Montreuil-sur-Mer in the French Picardie. In the course of its varied history, the Chartreuse not only served as a monastery, but also as a hospital, asylum, camp and artists' colony. Traces of all this can still be found today, and in my pictures I would like to put the viewer in this balancing act between the present and the past.
