Battersea Power Station reflecting in the Thames
I made this picture with Hasselblad 500C/M with Zeiss Distagon 40mm lens on Kodak slide film in 1999.
The bridge on the right dominates have of the picture and makes the Battersea Powerstation small.
The Battersea Power Station wins its shape and volume again by the refection in the water.
I colored the picture in full color together with bright sepia as this is a view which can not be seen anymore as the station was reconstructed for new times.
Battersea Power Station was used by the band Pink Floyd for there concerts and on the album cover of the record ‘Animals’.
