The little houses that waves their hand (Series)
DESCRIPTION
My photographic work is about the humility and fragility of human beings facing the immensity in front of them. I often present humans in the form of a house - shelters, refuge, intimate spaces - as a place and symbol at the same time. The series ‘The Little Houses That Wave Their Hand’ is an allegory for human relationships. We enter the village, and we see the ladies. Then, the old folks look at us. Then, the whole village... etc... They seem to see us, witnessing their lives. They seem to talk about us. Breaking the fourth wall, they wave at us from far away. From that North Canadian reality. Are we part of that story? (The complete serie contains more images)
