DESCRIPTION
In this series I combine original wall painitings from a house dated 1651 in my home town Deventer)with my still life compositions in front of it). By doing this I give the old paintings a new meaning and, together with my still life in front, create an interaction between past and present to new art work. Thus, I pick up the traditions of the old Dutch masters of the golden age and evolve this to contemporary photographic art.
