This is the town of Bodie in California, officially a ghost town. I discovered the place while driving through California shooting landscapes. When Gold was discovered there in the late 1800's a thriving town sparing up with a large mine. When the Gold ran out a gradual exodus of the population began until eventually there was no one left.
A preserved site with all the buildings left exactly as they were, nothing is allowed to be touched or moved.
A perfectly preserved town with an incredible part in the history of the Californian Gold Ruch era.
