Fine Art nominee

I was inspired to create this series of photographs by the geometric shape of a paper polygon that I had in my Studio. The perfection of this form, the aesthetics of the geometry of its faces, the beauty of lines, the play of light and shadow on its surface endlessly excite and fascinate me. Looking at this form, I have associations with a mysterious star that shines somewhere far away in space, heralding the creation of a new perfect world. By means of photography I tried to convey to the viewer these emotions and experiences. In order for the viewer to get closer to my images that arise in my contemplation of this form, I used colored light sources. Similarly to the simple geometric shape, I used the basic colors of the spectrum (red, yellow, blue, black and white). This is how the images of my stars turned out. The flawless shape of these stars is beautiful in itself, and their mysterious light promises us the birth of a new perfect world.
