Cookie Cutter Falls (Single)
DESCRIPTION
Cookie Cutter Falls is in the Porcupine Mountains of Northern Michigan, USA. It is near Lake Superior. I had never seen erosion that made perfectly round circles before. I didn't really want to take this picture from a bridge over the river but my wife insisted.
AUTHOR
I started doing photography in the mid-1980’s when I bought my first 35 mm film camera. I had some photographs published in the State of Utah’s Wildlife Review magazine. My goal was to share the beautiful landscapes and the moments in nature that I was seeing. I have spent most of my life outdoors and I have a good appreciation for light and how it affects scenery and wild things.
I bought my first Mikon digital camera in 2007. I struggled for a couple of years with the new world of post processing. What to do and how much to do? I started entering regional and national art exhibits in 2010. I have had photographs accepted in several shows.
