With these four images, you see a tree at night lit by a spotlight. By using a long but still relatively short shutter speed and a sharp f-stop to keep the sky and surroundings dark. You can now see a tree in a way you can only see a tree through photography.
In two images I have extended the darkness to the sides to add to the effect and for composition.
