Nudes nominee

Medium format analog photography, solarized films.

In the "My Body is a Cage" serie I used the solarization of the films to merge the bodies of the women into the medium.
Influenced by Michelangelo and his Slaves statues (Florence Academia Gallery, Louvre Museum), in which the bodies half emerge, prisoners of the marble.
I did the opposite partly merged the bodies into the film by exposing the films to light during the developing process. The Female models are trapped into their image by the light and the black lines surrounding them (Mackie lines).
