No word like the title of the project can express a stubborn reality; nothing happens to nature and it is man who has come to interrupt his normal evolution. Nature is in our hands. We have the capacity to destroy it, or to defend it, only in our hands is the power to save our forests, our rivers, our seas, our planet. It is an obligation because we live in it, it is necessary that the protection of the environment and the concept of sustainability is present in all our actions. Only each of us has the power in their hands to defend our world.
AUTHOR
Richard Le Manz is a Spanish conceptual photographer whose work is mostly recognized for raising awareness and criticism about climate change.
His artistic discourse is marked by his training in industrial engineering and his passion for travel and nature. He started in landscape photography, but soon understood photography not only to capture beauty, but also to reflect on the social and environmental problems that threaten our planet.
Le Manz makes use of his special ability to unveil new meanings in things, raising reflections on universal issues. Through his art and the power of his images he pays special attention to the current problems of the world, especially the environmental ones, and of our society. Sometimes absurd pairing, transformation, irony, and double meaning are some of the resources the artist uses to establish communication with the viewer.
