This is a stunning location on the Mornington Peninsula that I used to visit with friends when I was a young teenager. We would jump off the high rock on the far left side of the image into a deep rockpool below. Back then, we knew it as 'Octopus Rock' and the top level was a significant 10 metres high.
Funnily enough, during those visits we never actually stopped to appreciate the beauty of this place - we had more important things on our mind! Now that I am old (and somewhat wiser), I have found new meaning in this magic location.
Especially after spending a warm spring evening shooting here with a gentle onshore breeze and waves rolling around my ankles. The light was truly magic and I captured this stunning photograph just before the sun hit the horizon.
