The idea of these pictures came to me because I am very active in the social area and had dealt with the topic of child abuse and the result of the child abuse in adult age with flashbacks. The pictures are meant to depict older people, who have experienced abuse in their childhood. At the moment of the shot, they have a flashback and you see two hands moving over the body. The face expression of the person should show that this touch wasn’t from his side. One should see the bad memory in his face. It shows the person as it is in a flashback, everything stands still only the memory is there and moves. The pictures show four different people in a different situation, it describes that everyone (a businessman or woman, a housewife or a farmer) can experience child abuse in the past.
