The hyper-sexualization within the gay teen experience is remarkably prevalent. While there’s a growing realization of domesticity for gay couples, there remains a reality where intimacy and connection between young gay men is eclipsed by the pressure of anonymous sexual encounters.
While frequent sexual encounters remain a normal part of the young lifestyle, they result in a darker painful side, fraught with loneliness and risk, that’s left unspoken.
1. “Unknown Skin” - Two boys meet, unfamiliar to norms of romance. This is neither boy’s first sexual encounter. Skin touching unknown skin. Names optionally exchanged.
2. “Window of Paranoia” - The two boys conceal themselves in darkness, dreading to be caught. The scandalous nature serving only as motivation and tease of lust.
3. “Don’t Drip” - They find themselves lost in the peak of sexual bliss where consequences and fears are drowned by euphoric pleasure. Playing with fire has never been sexier.
4. “Indignity” - One boy is alone now, flooded with regret and self-hatred as he wrestles with his shame.
